GOOD HOPE FM’S 58TH BIRTHDAY EDITION OF SAAIMAN SAYS LIVE SESSIONS WITH YOUNGSTACPT & LEA VENGA


Chad Saaiman and Good Hope FM, Cape Town’s Original, will be hosting crowd-favourites, YoungstaCPT and Lea Venga, for an epic, free show during the next edition of Saaiman Says Live Sessions on 27 July 2023.

The show, which is open to the public, will bring an electric vibe as part of the station’s 58th birthday celebrations, will take place live at the SABC Seapoint Auditorium from 7pm to 8pm.

Youngsta and Lea will be performing a rocking set of their best tunes, with Chad catching up with them on all things hot and happening in their lives and careers.

With 30 mixtapes, two albums, numerous EPs and accolades under his belt. Riyadh Roberts, better known as YoungstaCPT, is regarded as one of the most impactful South African emcees of this generation, since launching his career in 2010, with his sound unlike any other rapper and, as he describes it, unmistakably “Kaapstad”.

He has opened for numerous international acts, including the likes of Lil Wayne, Meek Mill and Nas, has done tours to Australia, Switzerland, Namibia and Dubai and has an impressive list of accolades to his name, including “King of Street Rap”, “Lyricist of the year” at the SA Hip Hop Awards, “Mixtape of the year” at the Slikour Awards, “Album and Music Video of the year” at the SA Hip Hop Awards and a SAMA nomination.

Lea Venga is a talented performing and recording artist, singer, and songwriter based in Cape Town. Renowned for her sultry, deep, and jazzy vocals, she effortlessly blends a diverse range of influences, fusing Jazz with Deep House to create a distinctive sound that resonates with audiences.

A chart topper on various regional and national station’s playlists, Lea has collaborated with esteemed South African and international artists, showcasing her versatility and ability to seamlessly merge with diverse musical styles. These artists include the likes of Early B, Kurt Darren, Jack Parrow and Lowkey.
